On an isolated island, 16-year-old Julija dreams of escaping. Everything changes when Javier, her father’s friend and former employer, returns to the island.
While Javier stays with them, Julija notices how her father Ante softens his traditional authority, and her mother awakens to a forgotten sensuality. Julija begins to imagine that Javier is her real father, who will lead her to the life she has always dreamed of.
