Synopsis

Jacques Cousteau takes his son Philippe to the warm waters of the Mediterranean, and the boy breathes underwater for the first time in his life.

He discovers the quiet world his father began to explore – a magnificent, mythical kingdom teeming with colorful life. Jacques is restless and eager for new adventures, so he decides to mortgage everything he owns to buy the ship Calypso, which will be able to take him far across the oceans of the world.
