Mediterranean Film Festival

Mediterranean Film Festival has established itself as a premium cultural event on the Adriatic and its positive spirit during the last 15 years was recognized by over than 15.000 visitors per edition. Other than impressive movies from the Mediterranean, including exclusive regional and national premiers. The scent of old pines, rumors of the sea, sandy beach, and smiley faces during the parties combined create a perfect movie theater during all 10 days of the festival.

Split Film Festival

The International Festival of New Film / Split Film Festival is the oldest international film/media manifestation in the Republic of Croatia. Ever since it was instituted in Split in 1996, the Festival promotes new, creative, personal, experimental, radical, and subversive works, of all lengths, styles, and genres, generally produced outside the mainstream, all the while keeping its primary focus on excellence and outstanding achievements. The Festival program comprises a selection of titles from recent world film production, films screened and awarded at many well-known (Rotterdam, Berlinale, Cannes) and lesser-known festivals around the world. In addition, these are generally all Croatian premieres, which is why the Festival’s program is hailed as one of the most significant film festivals in Croatia.

Brač Film Festival

Brač Film Festival is a pristine international feature film festival showcasing emerging filmmakers from Europe and the Mediterranean. The focus is on promotion of the first time feature film directors, presentation of short student films, development of film literacy among children and youth and connecting young film professionals with experienced ones. Since its foundation in 2015 Brač Film Festival has been recognized as a meeting point for young filmmakers from the whole region.

Dalmatia Film Festival (DFF)
Location: Sutivan, Kaštel Lukšić, Pirovac, Solin i Split Date: July and August 2023
“Dalmatia Film Festival” (DFF) is an international festival presenting features and short films, documentaries, animated films, and tourism/travel films.
The festival’s seventh edition will take place from July to August 2022 in the following cities: Sutivan, Kaštela, Pirovac, and Solin. The final winter program of the festival will take place in the city of Split in December 2022.
Under the motto “Dalmatia is my Lifeline”, the festival offers a selection of the best contemporary films from all four categories. Our guests and visitors will enjoy the film screenings under the stars and by the sea in a pleasant summer night atmosphere. Besides film screenings, the festival holds various supporting events such as masterclasses, round tables, exhibitions, and workshops.

qFEST
Location: Split Date: 28 April- 06 May 2023 / Edition 7
qFEST is a queer festival organized by the queerANarchive collective. With its diverse program, the festival provides the LGBTIQ community in Split with a place to participate in cultural life. The festival lasts from April 28 to May 6. It offers the interested audience several contemporary artistic formats such as performances, exhibition and film screenings, several workshop formats, and, most importantly, many opportunities to socialize.
