Živogošće is located at the foot of Biokovo mountain, on the southern part of Makarska Riviera. It consists of three small non-coherent coastal places: Porat, Mala Duba and Blato. Živogošće has been inhabited since Illyrian and Roman times which is documented by the Illyrian mounds/graves on Suzina Hill, and the remains of rustic villas in Mala Duba and Blato.
